We’re so excited to launch ‘Noche Típica…’, our new regional dinner series, transporting you through the different coasts, cities and kitchens of Mexico — one dinner at a time.

First stop: the Gulf of Mexico, from Tuesday, March 3rd

Stretching from Tamaulipas down to Veracruz and Tabasco, the Gulf is known for its vibrant coastal cooking — bright citrus, slow braises, fresh herbs, smoky chillies and soulful, home-style dishes shaped by Afro-Caribbean and Indigenous influences.

With all of this in mind, Sheila and Isa have been diving deep into traditional recipes and memories from the towns and cities of the Gulf, recreating the flavours they grew up with and the dishes you’d typically find in someone’s home rather than a restaurant.

Think regional specialties, nostalgic plates, and bold, heartwarming flavours — all told through a fully plant-based El Planta lens.

It’s generous, comforting food that’s meant to be shared around a table with family and friends.
3 Courses. $49pp. All you need to choose is what you drink for the night.

Each month, Noche Típica will spotlight a different region, giving you the chance to explore Mexico beyond the usual favourites and experience the incredible diversity of its cuisine.

We do fill up quickly on Tuesdays so it is always best to book but we do try and keep a couple of tables aside for walk-ins so always worth trying your luck if you left it too late!
